SANTA ROSA – Host, Sarah Rutan: To avoid mistakes and other problems during a move, you’ll need to be proactive about communication. To learn more, we’re in Santa Rosa with Kyle Messer of Robb & Messer Moving and Storage, speaking on behalf of Diamond Certified Expert Contributor David Robb.

Kyle Messer: When people are looking for a moving company, communication is key. From start to finish, when people are looking for a mover — from the sales people, from the office staff, all the way down to the crew and the driver that’s handling the move — communication back and forth between the moving company and the customer is ideal because if there’s a break in communication, a lot of things can go wrong.

So, make sure you, as the customer, are very communicative with your crew and with your mover — that describe your basic needs and whatever might be different and the changes that arise during the course of your move.
