Your contractor
The success of any pool project hinges on its contractor, so it’s critical to find a good one. Don’t just hire the first contractor you talk to; rather, get bids from at least three to gain comparative perspective. In addition to checking each contractor’s references, be sure to check with the Contractors State License Board to verify the status of their licensing. By taking the time to find a quality contractor, you’ll have greater peace of mind throughout the process.

Purpose and design
After you’ve decided to install a swimming pool, take some time to think about its primary purpose. Will it be used mainly for exercise? Family fun?
